The After Christmas Christmas Party

This past Friday night, we celebrated with Charles' squadron at their holiday party. It was supposed to happen before Christmas, but it was postponed due to weather.

I was amazed at how many people were there. It was a lot of fun to see everyone all dressed up. We enjoyed some tasty food: tri-tip (a California specialty), potatoes, green beans, salad and cornbread. For dessert there was a cookies and milk bar. Yum!

They gave away tons of prizes including a curved TV. I think everyone was hoping to win that. Unfortunately, we did not win. Charles did win a Walmart gift card, so we did not walk away empty handed.
