While sitting at home all day and baking isn't exciting enough, I have been looking for a job. I have had a couple of interviews and yesterday I received the call. I have been offered a job! Luck of the bit of Irish in me ;)
I am very lucky because my new job is on base and I will have a short commute. A lot of the other positions I applied for were 30 to 45 minutes away. At my last job I had a 5 minute commute, so I was not looking forward to a long one. Plus, the hours are flexible. Hopefully I'll still have plenty of time to try out new recipes and craft.
I am not sure when I will start. First step is to complete a bunch of paperwork with HR.
