Big 3-2!

Charles turned 32 this year. It's not one of those milestone birthdays, but it is always fun to celebrate another year of him. He took the day off from work so we could relax and enjoy the day.

The morning started off with homemade cinnamon rolls. Yum, yum, yum! I prepped them the day before so all I had to do was stick them in the oven to bake. Homemade cinnamon rolls are definitely more work than popping open a can, but they are so worth it!

The rest of the day was spent having fun! We saw a movie--Central Intelligence. Not the best movie, but not the worst either. Then we played laser tag! It was my first time and it was actually pretty fun. Charles and I were on separate teams and we didn't know any of the other people playing, but it was neat to walk around shooting lasers at people. Then we went to Dave & Buster's for some arcade fun. We finished up our outing with dinner at our favorite BBQ restaurant in the area.

Then it was time for cake! That's almost the best part about birthdays. Charles had requested the German Apple Cake with caramel drizzled on top. That cake is amazing already, but the caramel added even more yumminess to it.

For his birthday present, I gave him two tickets to a concert coming up in our area. We've been talking about going and this was the perfect excuse to buy the tickets.
