Living in a zoo

Our new house is kind of situated in the middle of nowhere; or at least near lots of open space and farmland. We have all sorts of wildlife that visits. The base even lets local farmers/ranchers (whatever they are called) rent out land for their cattle to graze. That is a very environmentally-friendly way to keep the grass cut, huh?

Wild turkeys are some of the animals that stop by from time to time. So far I have seen them on two occasions. Charles is jealous because he has missed both. The second time I made sure to take plenty of pictures so he would feel like he was there.
