I had a 2nd interview for the Leasing Specialist job yesterday. I was really nervous about it because I was told that more questions about leasing were going to be asked. I do not have any experience in leasing and could not find anything really helpful online. However, when I got there, I interviewed with someone different, so it was just like a 1st interview all over again.
For this interview, I decided not to wear my suit. I didn't want to wear the same thing that I did last time, so I wore grey trousers, a white button up and an argyle sweater vest. The lady who interviewed me was also wearing an argyle sweater. (It was a sign!) We had a great talk about the job and I asked a bunch of good questions. I told her how I was trying to find more information about leasing (which I think impressed her) and she offered to let me borrow a book she has. Awesome! She even told me that she could see why I was asked back for a 2nd interview and that I was one of her top runners for the position. In listening to her talk about the office and the team, I know I would fit right in. I really hope I get the job!
When I got in the car after the interview, the radio was playing Indescribable by Chris Tomlin. That was definitely a sign. While Charles was unemployed that song was always a comfort...it was like God was telling me that no matter what he was going to take care of me.
And then when I got home and checked my email, we had won a free pizza from Papa John's. I know that's totally unrelated to the job interview, but it made me happy.
So now I have to keep my fingers crossed!
